The first time you get weighed and measured at my Curves, they put a paper bee with your name on it up on the wall. There is a section for "Bee-ginning Curvettes" for those who have lost less than 5 lbs and 5 inches. Then there is a section for 5 lbs/inches, 10 lbs/inches, and so on. Well, my bee had been in the very same spot for 8 long months.
Until yesterday.
I have lost a total of 9 1/2 inches since I started Curves last May, and 5 1/2 lbs. So they moved my bee. They made an announcement and everyone clapped, and then we went on working out as usual. But in my mind, I was running up stadium steps, singing the "Rocky" theme. I haven't stopped yet.
